i thoroughly enjoy criminal law.

so why can’t i get my shit together for my exam on wednesday?

maybe it’s because i have 300 pages in my book, 200 pages in supplemental reading, 16 problems and 4 practice exams to meld into one comprehensive binder allowed to be used during the exam.

open book is a gift with a slap across the face because if you don’t compile your piles of shit comprehensively, you slow yourself down and get even more confused.

but if you do it right….you guessed it…you’re doing alright.

so tonight i’m busting out  my color coded tabs and tables of contents….i’m not fucking around with this one.  i’ll have 600 pages of comprehensive shit if i have to.  whatever it takes to get a passing grade.

blegh. 

it’s december 15th and it’s 54 degrees out.

i feel like i’ve fucked up the first two exams (although i hear that’s just a feeling you live with, throughout law school) and i’d like to be able to sleep easy tomorrow night knowing i didn’t fuck up a third.

but that won’t stop me from wishing my long-term homegirl moria a happy birthday!!!

i love you more than you know and i hope your birthday-time is wonderful and inspiring.  it’s like your own personal little new years.

you’re doing big things with the life you have and that’s all the reason to celebrate the shit out of it!!!

joined green peace

signed up to help a former trafficking victim who is now a U.S.  immigrant, through Simmons.

i knew there was a reason i went to Simmons….they’re always helping women. 

the rest of life is super stressful and i’ll never feel good about until may 2009

i’m okay with that since i have some good outlets with instant gratification.
